----- MSM - The Universal Nutrient
Sulfur is one of the minerals most crucial to life. Sulfur is a basic component of the proteins that form our organs and muscles. Sulfur is necessary for making collagen, the primary constituent of cartilage and connective tissue. Sulfur is crucial to many of the vitamins, enzymes, hormones and antibodies that keep us alive and healthy. Everything from our muscles and organs to our skin, nail, hair and bones relies on organic sulfur in some way. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): an organic form of sulfur, is one of the most versatile and beneficial of all nutrients. Unfortunately, most of the volatile MSM present in unprocessed foods is lost in the washing, cooking or steaming that is involved in the modern preparation of plant foods for consumption. Therefore, daily dietary supplement with MSM is most important for everyone. MSM has been used as a dietary supplement for many years, with no reports of intolerance or allergic reaction. MSM should never be confused with sulfa drugs to which some people are allergic. MSM provides the body with the necessary raw materials to create healthy and flexible new cells. Optimal health is dependent on maintaining the process for producing healthy and flexible cells. Lacking sufficient MSM, the body is a compromised system, deficient in its ability to repair or replace damaged tissue and organs. Thus dysfunctional cells are produced which can lead to illness and disease. When fibrous tissue cells become inflexible and impermeable, they inflate and become inflamed. This contributes to pain.
Recommended daily dose of MSM is 2000 to 6000mg. Always combine MSM with vitamin C because the body uses up a little of our vitamin C in the process of forming new cells and there is a positive synergistic effect on the building of healthier cells when MSM is taken in combination with vitamin C.
MSM Miracle and its many benefits
Skin, hair and nail: Take MSM 1000mg three times a day with meal. MSM plus Vitamin C heal skin wound faster and make the skin appear softer, smoother and more pliable. Unsightly and painful scar have been observed to disappear over time with application of MSM lotion. Acne, including the severe acne rosacea responds favorably to a diet supplemented with MSM. MSM makes your hair healthier and your nails stronger. For psoriasis, take MSM 6000-8000mg daily for 3-4 weeks. When condition improves, cut down to 4000mg per day.
Allergy: Take at least 6000mg of MSM per day for three weeks and then 3000mg daily. MSM softens the cell walls, allowing allergens, foreign proteins and many free radicals to be moved out of your system. Subjects with chronic to severe allergy report substantial to complete relief of their symptoms after successive daily dose of MSM. Majority of asthmatics report better control of their symptoms with one-fourth or less the amount of antiallergy medication they had been taking when concurrently ingesting MSM. MSM also binds food allergens to produce harmless substances which are then excreted from the body. Individuals who experience an allergic response to certain food (e.g. shrimp, milk, citrus and wheat) report an improved or complete tolerance to these substances when they take MSM.
Parasites: MSM has demonstrated amazing antiparasitic action against Giardia, Trichomonas, roundworms, neomatodes, Enterobius and other intestinal worms. MSM competes for the binding sites at the mucous membrane surface so that parasite find impenetrable and can't cling to. Unable to hang on, the parasite are simply flushed out of your system. Take 10,000 mg of MSM daily for three to four weeks then 3000mg daily.
Gastrointestinal tract: MSM 3000mg a day will dramatically relieve long standing GI disorders including inflammation, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, stomach hyperacidity and heartburn. Study has shown that MSM is often more effective than even combination of H2 blockers and antacids.
Pain relief: MSM 4000-5000mg a day alleviate pain associated with systemic inflammatory disorders such as arthritis and Fibromyalgia. MSM also has demonstrated the remarkable ability to reduce the incidence of or eliminate entirely muscle soreness, leg and back cramps. It shortens postathletic fatigue syndrome from 8-10 days to 2-3 days.
Diabetes: MSM 2000-4000mg a day causes cells to become permeable and the pancreas to return to normal as blood sugar is absorbed through cell walls balancing the sugar level.
Mental sharpness: Individuals on MSM generally report increased alertness, a plateau of mood changes, very infrequent depression and their ability to concentrate is enhanced.
Lung function: MSM improves lung function in patients with emphysema and lung tumors. Lung fluid disappears while taking MSM.
Oral hygiene: MSM improves gum disease, reduce or eliminate bad breath.
Sunburn, insect bites and contact dermatitis (poison Ivy etc). In individuals taking MSM daily, reaction to insect bite and poison dermatitis are much milder, blistering from sunburn is much less and healing is faster. MSM lotion is the preferred form of application to the skin.
Snoring: MSM 3000mg per day helps lessening or eliminating snoring.
